Dr. Christoph Raetzsch is a post-doctoral researcher in media and communication studies. His research has focused on transformations of journalism, media practice and logics of digital systems. He holds a degree in media consulting from Technische Universität Berlin and obtained his PhD from Freie Universität Berlin in 2014 with a study on technological innovations in American news journalism. Recently, he worked on the EU-funded project OrganiCity at the University of Aarhus (DK) and studied processes of co-creation and infrastructuring for the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructures. During his fellowship at the Weizenbaum Institute he will be further developing his research project on “Infrastructures of Publics” and prepare a workshop with city administrators for digital innovations.
